Trainees testimonials page 2
I would like to thank you for your patience and superb training on the five day paint and alloy course.
How a novice with no previous experience can be taught to repair alloys and bumpers to workshop standards
is beyond me, and I put it all down to your experience and training methods. Being able to do all the work,
rather than just watch or learn in the classroom is obviously the key to success and confidence in everything I will do.
To anyone considering this course, I would highly recommend Martin to you, and I am quite happy for my number or e mail to be given to you, and for you to contact me.
Please thank Julie for the lunches.

Hi Martin
Sorry for the late reply I was trying to get flyer's and business cards done this weekend and did so much running round hope its not to late,  just to say thank you for the great training and to leave you a testimonial for the website...
I attended StreetSmartUk's training program this summer, after having previously enrolled onto another company's smart repair training work shop based course.
Martin's course not only vastly improved my knowledge of smart repairs but (more importantly) showed me exactly how to employ those skills in the mobile environment, something that I was previously lacking. The training method was very 'hands on' and structured to improve and build confidence when working. It has been a pleasure working with Martin at StreetSmartUK and I would recommend him as the first port of call if you are serious about Smart repair training.
SteetSmartUk continues to offer me sound advice to this day and is never more than an e-mail away. Martin's Knowledge of not only the practical aspects but business aspects really is second to none and his advice is invaluable.
Thanks again for all your help, Tam Nyakunu  Birmingham.
 Hi Martin
Just a line to thank you for the effort and knowledge put in to the 3 day Smart Repair Course that I attended recently.  Having worked in a college delivering Further and Higher Education I can fully appreciate the non stop enthusiasm that Martin puts in to his work and the enjoyment of all those that attend his training programme.
Trade knowledge, real life experiences and useful tips are all added within this course; and combined with common sense, allow an insight into the job for those wishing to pursue it as a career.  Martin is also great at adapting course needs around those of his students, giving tips on any problem areas that may have been encountered, and helping to overcome them.
Best wishes  Many Thanks,

he's talking about!
He has been even more helpful after the course ended while I bombarded him with questions from  equpiment to van insurance!!Overall anyone thinking about doing a course this is the guy to do it with.He is very professional and his tution is one 2 one like stated.
I had a great time learned a lot and had a great laugh along the way (sometimes more than learning!) See u early next year for the paint course!

Hello Martin

Hope you and family well, just a quick message to say how much I enjoyed your course and found it probably the best training I've attended, the one to one training I found excellent,  great knowledge and your enthusiasm is motivational, it is also a great comfort to know that you can just give you an email or phone call and you will try your
best to help.

Can't thank you enough Carl Ingram.  Essex

I just wanted to thank Martin for the one to one training I recieved recently for alloy wheel repairs.

From my first enquiry to actually completing the course I have to say that the experience has been faultless. Having never touched a spray gun before I was a little unsure of what to expect or how much I would learn in just 3 days. The logical process meant that by the end of it I fully understood the stages of completing an alloy wheel repair from scratch. Martin is true to his word in the fact that it is hands on and you do everything yourself under his watchful eye.

His teaching manner is calm, easy going with no pressure, and his enthusiasm for his work is fantastic. Not only are you learning about the techniques of repairs you are also learning about the wider areas of the job, from kitting a van out to the pricing up of a repair. This is where learning from someone who has years of experience comes into its own, with the constant drip feeding of 'top tips' adding to the learning experience. If like me you are considering this line of work as a career change then the courses Martin offers are a must. I have learnt the basics and now it is just down to practice. As a novice I will undoubtedly come unstuck in the near future, but as part of the course Martin offers to be only an email or phone call away, a service that I am sure will prove very helpful. Included in the price of the course you are also fed and watered, so my thanks also to Julie his wife for the great pack lunches.
Once I get some way to conquering alloy wheels, I look forward to booking onto a paint repair course next year.

Best wishes

'Hi Martin, just wanted to say I really enjoyed the Paint training, it was extremely useful and you answered all the questions I had about setting up a mobile smart repair business. Along with finding the course really useful I really appreciate that I have been able to contact you for further questions/information. I now feel confident in setting up this type of business.

Hi Martin,
Just like to thank you for a great week. Its amazing how much i learnt in 5 days. With the winter weather conditions being as bad as they were and still achieving excellent results was definately an eye opener.
I feel i am ready to start my new business. 1 to 1 training was definately the way to go and actually working outside from a smart repair van as this is what i will be doing.
Also like to thank Julie for the food. All in all this was the best thing i could have done and after hearing stories of other training places i know i made the right decision, it did what it says on tin. Thanks again to you both

Hallo Martin, Just quick email to say how much I really appreciate everything you have done for me on the course. It was brilliant, had great time, you are an absolutely smashing bloke, and most of all I learnt what i need too to get me out there and earning some money! You know me, i ready got most of my equipment, compressor came today & just waiting on the Dupont paint scheme and i ready to go J. I have gone with a transit van as i am going to do both alloys & bumpers J which i will hopefully be doing a course on the alloy refurbishment’s in the new year.

I have also decided to look for a static unit, nothing big just to give me a base to do both mobile & in house repair’s. As i said i really enjoyed it so i really looking forward to a new challenge for the new year!

Once again thanks for everything you have done & hopefully see you in the new year

Cheers again Martin – ‘’Top bloke’’J

Hi Martin,

Just a quick thank you for all your help, and first class instruction, during my Paint and Alloy course last week. I honestly could not believe how much information, knowledge and skill set you managed to pass on to me in that week!! My head was and still is buzzing with it all. I would sincerely advise anyone wanting to start a new carrier or develop their skills in SMART repair, to get on one of Martins courses! After just one week he had me repairing wheels that had been seriously abused to an un-believable standard, and even had me repairing and spraying bumpers! This is all testament to his fantastic instruction. I cannot  thank you enough martin!!
Thanks again Jay Kerrison Ssgt British Army, Hampshire

G’Day Martin and Julie,

Having travelled from Western Australia, I just had to let you know that I have had an amazing time in Deal, UK with a great trainer called Martin, (top man) I got to, I have never used or set up a spray gun before, I have had a long time interest with learning the art of spray painting, that I was happy to travel from Australia just to be here in Deal.

As for the course, Martin is a top bloke and is a  very skilful spray painter, the training is all step by step so is easy to understand, in just five day I learned so much, plus Martin is always a call or email away ( how cool is that!)
Now I can’t go without a word about the lunch’s for the week, and that word is. . . Fantastic kept me going all day so Big Thanks to Julie for that,

This course really is (I think) value for money, lf you are prepare to work at it, However if you are still a bit unsure and want to ask someone who’s done it, then drop an email at I will do my best to reply,

Thanks Martin and Julie,

Nice one Streetsmart

Best Regards,  Darren Garland  (Western Australia)

Hi Martin
I would just like to take this opportunity to say a big, big thank you for the
fantastic Paint and Alloy course that I attended last week. The course was so
well structured that it could have been made to measure just for me (I'm sure it
wasn't). The "hands on" doing the actual job was brilliant for me and exactly
what I need to help me to understand how things should be done. Working in the
real world environment is what I do on a day to day basis so to train in that
very environment was perfect.
The passion and enthusiasm you have for the job really comes through during the
course and you as a person are friendly and good fun to spend time with. You
have a wealth of knowledge about the trade, products and equipment which you
pass on freely and honestly.
I feel so fortunate to have been lucky enough to find you as a trainer to help
me expand my business in this particular direction. With all the horror stories
surrounding many organisations offering training I would highly recommend you
and your courses. I will probably do the more advanced one later when I have had
some practice.
I wish you and your family the very best for the future in everything you do and
thanks again.
Kindest regards,
Tony Kneale Horsham West Sussex
